MissionCamp Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-10-15
InterCP International ("we") operates the MissionCamp website (missioncamp.net and its subdomains) and the MissionCamp mobile app (the "Service"). This policy explains what personal information the Service collects, why, and how it is used, kept and deleted.
1. Information we collect
- Camp registration: name, phone number, email, church/affiliation, date of birth, gender, preferred language, emergency contact, username and password (stored hashed), passport name and number when a camp requires it (stored encrypted), arrival/departure schedule (flight or train numbers), other registration items such as lodging, pickup and camp options, and any items a camp adds to its form (for example occupation, ethnicity or faith-related questions)
- InterCP account (if you sign up): email, username, name, phone number, address, branch
- Information created while using the Service: messages with camp staff, group messages with participants in your small group and any reports or blocks you make, survey answers (when a camp runs a survey — choices, free-text answers and your group at the time), attendance/check-in records, payment confirmation records, change, cancellation and account deletion requests
- Device information: if you turn on notifications, a push token (web push subscription or the app's FCM token) and the app version
- Collected automatically: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and server access logs
The Service does not track you for advertising and does not access your location, contacts or photos. Camp fees are paid by bank transfer; we do not collect card details.
2. How we use it
- To receive registrations, verify identity and manage participants (lodging, pickup, groups, on-site check-in, attendance)
- To confirm and remind about camp fee payments
- To send camp information such as registration confirmations, announcements and staff messages (email and push notifications)
- To tell you about future camps, only if you agreed to receive it
- To prevent abuse and keep the Service reliable
Messages between participants: at camps with small groups, group leaders and members can message each other. Abuse, harassment, spam and inappropriate content are not allowed. Staff do not see these messages unless a participant reports a conversation; camp staff then review the reported conversation within 24 hours and take action as needed (access is logged). You can block another participant to stop receiving their messages.
3. Retention and deletion
Registration information is kept for 5 years after the camp ends and then deleted. InterCP account information is kept until you delete your account. Push tokens are discarded when you turn notifications off or the token is no longer valid. When you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize information that identifies you, such as your name and contact details, within 30 days of the request. Fee payment and deposit records are kept, as required by accounting law, only as amounts and dates that do not identify you, and staff access logs are kept for the period required by security law. Other information that the law requires us to keep is stored separately for the required period. Electronic files are deleted so they cannot be recovered.
4. Sharing
We do not sell or give your personal information to third parties. Camp staff (headquarters and branch staff) can view participant information only as needed to run the camp. We may disclose information when required by law.
5. Service providers and international transfer
We use the following providers to run the Service:
- Google LLC (Firebase Cloud Messaging, USA): sending app push notifications — push token, notification content
- Resend, Inc. (USA): sending emails — email address, email content
- Browser push services (Google, Apple, Mozilla, etc.): delivering web push notifications — subscription, notification content
Data is sent over encrypted connections when a notification or email is sent and is handled under each provider's policy. If you do not want this, you can turn notifications off and check the website directly.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your personal information, or ask us to stop processing it, at any time.
- View or edit your registration: sign in on your camp page and open "My Registration"
- Delete a camp participant or group account: in the app or on the web, sign in and tap "Delete account" at the bottom of "My Registration" (or the group page). If you are not signed in, open the account deletion page, enter the camp code and verify yourself with your login ID and password (or passport details)
- Delete your InterCP account: account deletion page (the app opens the same page)
- We complete deletion requests within 30 days and let you know the result by email (if registered) and on the request page. You can withdraw a request before it is completed.
- Other requests: contact our privacy officer below
Registrations for participants under 14 are made with the consent of a parent or guardian, who may also exercise these rights.
7. Security
All connections use HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed and passport numbers are stored encrypted. Staff access is limited by role and access is logged.
